Our culture

Work is play is work... |

Based in the heart of Amsterdam, MediaCatalyst has been around since 2001. The founder and owner, Hans Howarth is what you might call an 'international citizen', having lived all over the world. Combined with being located on the continent, this has bred an equally multi-cultural group of 'catalysts' who thrive from the sharing of cultures and ideas - at the last count we had 15 nationalities (not counting clients).
We strive to provide thought-leadership and support to our clients. We'd rather help you create the brief than receive it, but what counts is where we end up as a team. Our long client relationships are the result of tireless professionalism, knowing when to stand our ground, when to back down - and always keeping the bigger picture in mind.

We're known for being supportive and highly collaborative, and as a group we work and play hard.
The forefront of integrated communications and services is where we want to be. We often attend and participate in conferences and events across a range of topics from design, technology and marketing to broad social and cultural trends.
More than ever, people desire and expect authenticity, relevance and inspiration in the relationships they participate in. So what happens if we think a bit more, try a bit harder and design relationships that make the most of culture and commerce.

Jordy van Meer - Designer
A break for some fussball is no exception here. Unusual hours are not an exception here. Finding Fabi sleeping on his keyboard is no exception either. Though with loads of exceptions, not your average culture. It broadens my outlook and it also gives me a comfortable place to do what I love most, making things beautiful, aesthetically as well as functionally.Get to know Jordy
